Material Selection
We take great care to select only the finest materials for our products. We search for the perfect piece of wood, with the right grain, hardness, and texture, to ensure that the finished product meets our high standards. We inspect each piece of wood to ensure that it is free of defects and matches the customer's requirements. We take pride in sourcing our material locally from Ottawa and personally hand-picking each piece for our clients.
Construction
Our woodshop manufactures boards with the utmost care and precision. We use the latest techniques and advanced tools to ensure that each cutting board meets the client's exact design specifications. Our cutting boards are inspected for quality and craftsmanship before the finishing process.
Finishing
After all the customizations are complete and confirmed with the client, we start by sanding each board until it is silky smooth to the touch. Each board is sealed with food-grade cutting board oil and wax to ensure it's protected against wear and tear. Lastly, each board is carefully packaged along with the maintenance instructions and shipped right to your door.
